1995-To Present

  • MERCOSUR ECONOMIC SUMMIT, 18-20 June 1995, Sao Paulo (Brazil), organized by the World Economic Forum. It was the first edition of this economic summit with the participation of the 4 Presidents of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

  • Middle East and North Africa Economic Summit (2n edition of the MENA Economic Summit), 29-31 October 1995, Amman (Jordan) organized by the World Economic Forum- It was a private sector initiative, part of the multilateral component of the Multilateral Middle East Peace Process.

1996

  • WEF ANNUAL MEETING 1–6 February 1996, Davos (Switzerland) organized by the World Economic Forum. The main theme was Sustaining globalization.

  • MERCOSUR ECONOMIC SUMMIT, 23-25 June 1996, Buenos Aires (Argentina), organized by the World Economic Forum. It was the second edition of this economic summit with the participation of the 4 Presidents of Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) as well as the Presidents of Bolivia and Chile.

  • Middle East and North Africa Economic Summit (Third edition of the MENA Economic Summit), 12 -14 November 1996, Cairo (Egypt) organized by the World Economic Forum. It was a private sector initiative, part of the multilateral component of the Multilateral Middle East Peace Process.

  • WEF ANNUAL MEETING, 30 January – 4 February 1997, Davos (Switzerland) organize by the World Economic Forum. The main theme was Building the network society.

  • MERCOSUR ECONOMIC SUMMIT, 10-12 September 1997, Sao Paulo (Brazil), organized by the World Economic Forum. It was the third edition of this economic summit with the participation of the 4 Presidents of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay as well as the Vice President of the European Commission and the Executive Deputy President of South Africa

  • Middle East and North Africa Economic Summit (Fourth edition of the MENA Economic Summit), 16 -18 November 1997, Doha, Qatar organized by the World Economic Forum. It was a private sector initiative, part of the multilateral component of the Multilateral Middle East Peace Process.

1998

  • WEF ANNUAL MEETING, 29 January – 3 February 1998, Davos (Switzerland) organized by the World Economic Forum. The main theme was Managing volatility and priorities for the 21st century.

  • MERCOSUR ECONOMIC SUMMIT, 21-23 July 1998, Buenos Aires (Argentina), organized by the World Economic Forum. It was the fourth edition of this economic summit with the participation of the 4 Presidents of Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) as well as the Presidents of Chile and the President of the Inter-American Development Bank.

  • WEF ANNUAL MEETING, 28 January – 2 February 1999 Davos (Switzerland) organized by the World Economic Forum. The main theme was Responsible globality: managing the impact of globalization

  • MERCOSUR ECONOMIC SUMMIT,5-7 May 1999, Santiago (Chile), organized by the World Economic Forum. It was the fifth edition of this economic summit with the participation of the Presidents of Chile, Ecuador and the Vice President of Bolivia as well as the President of the Inter-American Development Bank and the first Deputy managing Director of the IMF

  • WEF - MEXICO MEETING, 26-27 February 2001, Cancun (Mexico) organized by the World Economic Forum. It was the presentation of the President Fox Cabinet to international economic actors.

  • MERCOSUR ECONOMIC SUMMIT, 20-22 May 2001, Buenos Aires (Argentina), organized by the World Economic Forum.

2002

  • WORLD SOCIAL FORUM, 31 January- 5 February, Porto Alegre (Brazil) is an annual meeting of civil society organizations, held in Brazil in the same dates that the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.

2003

  • UNIVERSAL FORUM OF CULTURES, Presentations in different cities such as Chicago, Geneva, New York, Rio de Janeiro, and in Spain (Barcelona, Castellón, Madrid, Granada etc.)

  • EARTH DIALOGUES 5-6 February, 2004, Barcelona (Spain) organized by Green Cross International and Forum Barcelona 2004 2004

  • UNIVERSAL FORUM OF CULTURES, 9 May – 26 September 2004, Barcelona (Spain) . organized by Barcelona's city council, the Generalitat of Catalunya. the Spanish Government and UNESCO- During 141 days, 49 International Conferences and seminars took place at the Forum site.
